As we continue to settle in to our new online platform the "bugs" seem to be popping up less and the opportunities to tweak things in order to make them better are popping up more. We enjoy all collector feedback when it comes to our website and all suggestions are valued and then implemented if at all possible. One such suggestion was to put our unique item numbers onto each individual listing in order to help clarify what material is being inquired about from collectors. We were able to implement this change and now each item has its item number visible to all, please use this number when contacting for more information about specific stamps. Here is a picture of a listing showing the location of the item number:
With over 20,000 items now listed on our website, and with each of them being unique, this system has made it far easier to make sure we are always discussing or helping you with the exact item(s) you are looking to add to your collection.
We have also had a bit of confusion with our 'Best Offer' service and I want to take a moment to clarify how it works. When you submit an offer on an item, the item is NOT held for you and it can still be purchased by another collector at anytime for full price or a higher offer. Just because you have an outstanding offer on a stamp does not mean it is "held" as you wait for a response back. The system only removes an item from availability to others when a transaction is fully completed (ie./ payment has been sent, or the "Send on Approval" option has been chosen). This also goes for the shopping cart....if you have things in your shopping cart, they are NOT reserved for you and can still be acquired by someone else. The best way to guarantee you get the item you want is to buy it immediately at the price listed.
If you are struggling in any way with our website, please do contact us as there is a good chance someone else is also! We are trying our best to make the buying experience online for your collection as easy and enjoyable as possible.
Happy Easter and be safe!
