DESCRIPTION: 1916 50c Blue Young Queen. A striking mint example of one of Canada's rarest Revenue stamps, clearly overprinted 'IN PRIZE' in red, control #10119. Full intact perforations, deep royal blue colour and pristine original gum. Hinged.

Very rare & the first we've handled.

It has been documented that only 40 examples (one full sheet) were overprinted 'IN PRIZE'. Serial numbers 10081 - 10120. Surely all 40 examples have not survived.
