STAMP #: AL26a

MINT/USED:

TYPE: Partial sheet reconstruction

GRADE: VF

DESCRIPTION: $5 yellow ochre. A remarkable imperf between partial sheet reconstruction. Clearly showing that these stamps began their existence together as all perforations and straight edges match up perfectly. Top imperf pair still intact, with 4 other imperf singles accompanying (3 of which are signed by Bileski). It is believed that these stamps were separated into vertical strips first before use and then cut/torn into singles or pairs to be used by different clerks as needed (different punch cancels). This would explain why the bottom margins are cut differently.

Surely the unique holy grail for Alberta Revenues and worthy of the finest Canadian Revenue Collection.
